ARL Statistics 2012-13

2012-2013 ARL Statistics submissions are due as soon as your fiscal year ends and no later than October 15, 2013.

Please Note: For the second consecutive year, we are utitlizing the revised ARL Statistics survey, which was finalized in 2011-12 after an extensive review process led by the Task Force on Reviewing the ARL Statistics, the ARL Annual Salary Survey and the ARL Supplementary Statistics.  Members of the ARL Statistics and Assessment Committee and the task force interviewed ARL Directors during the Spring of 2011 and collected feedback that helped them articulate the key issues, questions and revisions for annual data collection purposes.  This feedback was shared with ARL Library Directors and Salary Survey contacts, and the final survey questions were approved by the ARL Board in April of 2011.  Please see the revised questions and instructions below for details.

Special Collections 2012-13:

We will collect Special Collections data again for the 2012-13 survey. Please provide the following key pieces of information regarding your special collections: expenditures (questions 6 to 9) and staffing (questions 13a-c). We will leave it to your discretion to fill in additional variables if you think they are useful; however, please note that we only want to collect expenditures and staffing data on the Special Collections branch survey so the burden of data collection is manageable. If you have questions about how to complete the Special Collections survey, please send an email to stats@arl.org, and we will work with you on this aspect of the data collection.
