The information requested here is based on a survey originally developed by Carla Stoffle (University of Arizona) asking for the distribution of funds.  Report on this survey data for all libraries including law and health sciences if applicable.

ARL Statistics 2013–2014 

2013-2014 ARL Statistics submissions are due as soon as your fiscal year ends and no later than October 15, 2014.

Please Note: There were no changes to the survey form for this year. This survey uses the revised questionnaire from last year.

Regrding Special Collections 2013-14:

We will collect Special Collections data again for the 2013-14 survey. Please provide the following key pieces of information regarding your special collections: expenditures (questions 6 to 9), staffing (questions 13a-c), and also this year please consider providing number of library presentations to groups and number of participants in group presentations (questions 14-15).  We will leave it to your discretion to fill in additional variables if you think they are useful. If you have questions about how to complete the Special Collections survey, please send an email to stats@arl.org, and we will work with you on this aspect of the data collection. 


ARL Facilities Inventory 2012–2014 

Facilities Inventory 2012–2014 submissions are due by the end of the year, December 31, 2014.

Overview:

The Facilities Inventory has been developed over the past two years by the ARL Statistics and Assessment Committee in response to the need for collecting data in this area as articulated by the ARL Board.

On this survey, we will collect data for all libraries, including Law and Health Sciences, if applicable.  The aggregated sum of Main (including Special Collections), Law, and Health Sciences will be reported on the "Main Library" survey.  Please also provide 2 to 3 pictures/images from your library that demonstrate new and effective ways of using library spaces as a way of enhancing learning, teaching and research.
